How it began
Hôtel de la Paix was founded with a single belief: that the best journeys need a quiet place to return to. In 2005, we opened the doors of a traditional riad in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, transforming it into a sanctuary for travellers seeking both adventure and tranquility.
The name 'la Paix' — the peace — was chosen deliberately. Behind the unassuming door on Derb Sidi Ahmed ou Moussa, guests find a world apart from the vibrant chaos of the souks. A courtyard garden with a singing fountain. Rooms adorned with hand-carved cedar and zellige tiles. A rooftop where the Atlas Mountains meet the sky.
Nearly two decades later, our philosophy remains unchanged. We believe in personal service, in the beauty of Moroccan craftsmanship, and in the restorative power of a peaceful space. Every guest becomes part of our family, and every stay is a chance to experience the real Marrakech.
